S. Epatha Merkerson is retiring from Law & Order after 16 years on the job. Which seems like a lot until you realize Law & Order has been on for like 20 years!
My main concern is who will keep the detectives in line if Lt. Anita Van Buren isn't there? She's been in charge of Lennie Briscoe, Mike Logan, Rey Curtis, Ed Green, Joe Fontana, Nick Falco, Nina Cassady, Cyrus Lupo, and Kevin Bernard. That's a long list.
