Shop It To Me, the online personal shopping service, mined the data and shopping preferences of 26,000 of its members in New York, 4,800 members in Los Angeles, 26,000 members in Chicago, and 10,000 in San Francisco to find out which brands are tops in different zip codes.

Turns out, your city—even your neighborhood—may imbue you with distinct sartorial preferences: New York’s Columbia University area, 10025, prefer Banana Republic while Upper East Siders prefer Theory. Los Angeles definitely divides on Zip Code lines. In the 90077 code it’s all about Prada, Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana in Bel Air. Beverly Hills, however, prefers Juicy Couture.
