NYT has compiled a must read list for anyone about to visit NYC. They've narrowed the 100 or so vintage stores in Manhattan to a list to 14. It's not exhaustive, but it is a great sample of stores that have consistently high-quality inventory, as well as high turnover, which often enhances the chances of stumbling on a great find. The slideshow is here.
I used to be pretty good at vintage shopping when I was younger, but I've kinda given up on that lately. But, the idea of vintaging in NYC has me thinking about getting back into the mix.
