Vegan Sorels

The weather sure ain't getting warmer and it may be time to trade my converse in for a pair of sensible winter boots. I've bee looking into getting Sorels and their customer service peeps were helpful enough to send me a listing of the boots that contain no animal products: Sorelli Tall Lace, The Sorellington series, and the Tivolli series.

But the Sorelli Tall Lace is made with waterproof leather according to their own website!? The Tivolli and Sorellington series seems to be vegan though, even though there aren't that much information about the materials. In my experience shoe and clothing companies are keen to tell if their products are made of leather or wool since that signal good quality in most people's eyes. So if they don't tell that a product are made of leather or wool they're probably not. But one never know for sure, and I'm really grateful when other vegans get in contact with companies like you, thanks! :)

Anja - thanks so much for double checking. I just went to the website and it definitely says "waterproof leather." Wow - I should have double checked before posting. Sorel should have doubled checked before emailing me!
